How do Small Businesses Become Giant Empires?

Tonight, Mark Joyner released his newest project - Integration Marketing.

Much like he’s done with three of his previous books (Simpleology, The Great Formula and The Irresistible Offer), he’s offering a free pdf copy of the print version of Integration Marketing to people who sign up (for free) at the new Integration Marketing website.

The biggest difference between this release and the the previous ones?

Integration Marketing isn’t even available at your local bookstore yet!

Jay Conrad Levinson and the Guerrilla Marketers call it Fusion Marketing, Jay Abraham calls them host beneficiary relationships, others talk about joint ventures and alliances but Mark Joyner uses the term Integration Marketing.

But whatever name you use, you'll create a major boost for your business by working with partners and integrating your products into their business and vice-versa.

Earlier this year Mark Joyner announced that instead of giving away the book several years after publication, he has decided to make it available for free online nearly a year before it is available in book stores.

Who Is Ann Sieg?

Ann Sieg is one of the most successful network marketers out there and she has done this by turning network marketing training on its ear. Her two ebooks, “The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing” and “The Renegade Network Marketer” have revolutionized the way successful network marketers grow their businesses.

No longer do you make your warm market list of friends and relatives and then go harass them. No longer do you harass strangers in shopping malls and grocery store checkout lines. Ann Sieg teaches attraction marketing which uses the power of the internet to attract people already seeking a network business to you and your business.

Who is Mike Klingler?

Mike Klingler was a successful old-school network marketer. He built his business initially by just getting in front of a lot of people in person and on the phone. He was successful enough that at a young age, he no longer had to work for anybody else.

But Mike found that he couldn’t teach others what he was doing because no one else had the perseverance and tenacity he had. He needed to develop other techniques. That’s when he found Ann Sieg’s “The Renegade Network Marketer”. He introduced the book and the techniques it taught to his group and he had immediate success.

Now Mike has dedicated himself to provide step-by-step video training at his Renegade University website. Ann Sieg’s “The Renegade Network Marketer” provides the basic concepts behind attraction marketing but it is Mike’s video training at the Renegade University that leads the internet newbie step-by-step through cutting edge internet techniques.

What Are The Best Vitamins and Minerals for Sustained Energy?

We need all vitamins and minerals for good health, well being and energy. However, even though much of the foods we eat are nutritious in their own right, some essential vitamins and minerals may be below the recommended daily allowances (RDAs) for certain groups of people.

Particular nutrient deficiencies are associated with reduced energy and chronic tiredness. These include iron, magnesium, B12 and folic acid.

We will explore each of these nutrients; how they contribute to tiredness; how to test their levels in the body; and symptoms of a deficiency.

Iron
Iron is an essential mineral needed for the manufacture of haemoglobin, the part of red blood cells that carries oxygen and is needed for energy production. When iron levels are low, red blood cells can’t carry enough oxygen to the body’s tissues, causing fatigue.

When haemoglobin levels are low, anaemia occurs. There are two types of iron: haem iron (from animal sources) and non-haem iron (from plant sources). The body absorbs haem iron much more easily than non-haem iron, which is why vegetarians are at greater risk of iron-deficiency anaemia.

Symptoms of deficiency: fatigue (especially on exertion); pale lower eyelids, palms, nails, tongue; brittle nails; headaches; constipation; inflamed tongue.

Testing for deficiency: iron levels are tested easily with blood samples. Serum iron – tests iron levels in the blood. Ferritin levels – test how well iron is stored in the body, the best indicator of the body’s iron levels.

Caution: If excess iron absorption (called haemochromatosis) also causes chronic tiredness so it’s important to check your iron levels before using an iron supplement.

Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is needed for manufacture of red blood cells (along with folic acid). B12 helps the body’s use of iron and is also required for proper digestion, the absorption of foods, the synthesis of protein and the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. No wonder it’s important for good energy levels!

It is often observed that taking B12 (especially via injections) reduces fatigue, even when a deficiency isn’t found. B12 deficiencies are common due to declining B12 levels in food, increased use of antibiotics and digestive problems. This is because B12 is produced in the digestive tract as well as being absorbed from food.

Those most at risk of a B12 deficiency are vegetarians and people with digestive disturbances.

Symptoms of deficiency: fatigue, weakness, dizziness, sore tongue, memory problems, confusion, irritability, depression, moodiness, paleness. Testing for deficiency: B12 levels can be measured with a blood test

Folic Acid
Folic acid is a B vitamin (also called B9 or folate) needed for the manufacture of red blood cells. Deficiency can lead to a condition called megaloblastic anaemia.

Fatigue is associated with both a simple folic acid deficiency as well as megaloblastic anaemia. Because folic acid is easily destroyed during cooking, it is one of the most common vitamin deficiencies.

Symptoms of deficiency: similar to those of B12, including fatigue, digestive disturbances, insomnia, memory problems, weakness, shortness of breath, recurrent miscarriages, mental confusion, paranoid delusions, sore tongue, anaemia.

Testing for deficiency: folic acid levels can be measured with a blood test. Caution: if folic acid is given to someone who is B12 deficient and B12 isn’t given at the same time, the symptoms of a B12 deficiency (especially neurological symptoms) can be masked. Only take folic acid if a B12 deficiency has been ruled out.

Magnesium
Magnesium is needed for the production of ATP, which is the main energy-producing molecule in the body. Therefore, when magnesium is deficient our cells are less able to produce energy and we can experience chronic tiredness.

It has been found that nearly all people with chronic fatigue syndrome are magnesium deficient and for about 80 per cent of people given magnesium their energy improves. In fact, magnesium is the most common nutrient deficiency in all people. Most of us would benefit from supplementation even if magnesium levels are unable to be checked.

Symptoms of deficiency: fatigue, irritability, muscle spasms or cramps, rapid or irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, insomnia. Testing for deficiency: magnesium is not generally tested by blood test.

Hair analysis is the most readily available test. Hair mineral levels are a measure of the minerals bound into the hair shaft over a period of time and correlate most closely with tissue levels. The hair analysis test can be performed through specialist laboratories.

Caution: If magnesium supplements worsen your symptoms (especially cramping, twitching and muscle spasms), calcium is probably the deficiency, not magnesium.

Has Resveratrol Research Shown Any Benefits for Human Health?

If you're one of those who haven't heard of resveratrol, don't worry, you soon will. Resveratrol has been brought into the public's consciousness by Dr. Oz Mehmet on the daytime television show Oprah.

Resveratrol is a naturally occurring substance found in many plants, fruits, and vegetables such as a variety of berries, peanuts, cacao, and grapes. The resveratrol in grapes is also present in red wine, since the grape skins are used in the making of red wine, and grape skins have more resveratrol than any other single part of the plant.

For those who choose to abstain from any sort of alcohol, simply eating grapes fresh is considered an acceptable alternative to drinking wine, though you may not be getting the full dose of resveratrol compared to those who imbibe 1-2 glasses of red wine everyday.

Grapes are also considered to be the greatest source of resveratrol with cacao being a close second. Surely that's another good reason to eat chocolate!

Resveratrol is also available in a supplement form. There are a variety of supplements offered through a large number of suppliers on the internet today.

However, much of the information on resveratrol today has yet to be approved by the FDA, and if you're considering using resveratrol as a nutritional supplement, you should consult your physician first.

The information presented here today is not to be considered medical advice, but rather, to encourage the exploration and discovery of alternative approaches for individuals to maintain their own health.

Most of the research into resveratrol has, thus far, been in animal testing and in laboratory settings. Very little human testing has been made available. With that being said let's look at three of the possible benefits touted for resveratrol.

Possible Resveratrol Benefit Number One: Limited Age Reversal

Laboratory studies in mice have shown the substance to be anti-inflammatory, anti-infective, and an anti-oxidant. It's also been said to activate the so-called "longevity gene" Sir2 (or SirT1) in testing. Tests have even shown, in isolated human cells, that even the influenza virus' reproduction is limited.

Possible Resveratrol Benefit Number Two: Anti-Cancer Properties

Studies from various medical researchers has indicated that resveratrol may hold promise in treating breast, prostate, and neuroblastoma cancers. Activating a cell's defense mechanism(s) allows it time to repair harm done to it's DNA structure. Again, this research has been largely done in mice.

Possible Resveratrol Benefit Number Three: A Healthy Heart

There appears to possibly be some cardiovascular benefits to taking resveratrol. In the hearts of lab mice where heart damaged was induced, there were recovery benefits shown, when the mice were given resveratrol. In the cases of mice that were pre-conditioned with resveratrol, the damage induced by researchers was abrogated.

In Conclusion
While there's still much research needed to determine the proper applications, dosages, etc., in regards to using resveratrol, anything showing promise in the human battle against heart-disease, cancer, and premature aging is worth the investigation.

It's not the author's intention to encourage the use of resveratrol, or any supplement, blindly.

What are the Benefits of Sea Vegetables?

You probably already realize the importance of eating your vegetables but there's a whole class of healthy green vegetables that have been virtually ignored by the general public.

Sea plants and vegetables are not only low in calories but offer health benefits not seen with other types of vegetables.

What are these health benefits of sea vegetables?

They provide iodide to help in optimal thyroid function

Sea vegetables are rich in the important mineral sodium and potassium iodide. Without this critical mineral, the thyroid can't produce sufficient levels of thyroid hormone which is important for regulating your metabolism and maintaining life.

If you've seen someone with a large goiter, chances are they're deficient in iodine and would benefit from adding fresh sea vegetables to their diet. Concerned about maintaining thyroid health? You can help to optimize your own thyroid function by adding sea vegetables like seaweed to your diet.

They have anti-inflammatory properties

Brown seaweed as well as several other sea vegetables, contain a biochemical known as fucoidan which has anti-inflammatory properties.

Fucoidan may help to tame the inflammatory response that's thought to be responsible for a variety of chronic diseases including cancer. Just one more reason to add seaweed to your diet.

They may help to detoxify your gut and intestines

A component of sea vegetables known as Alginic Acid or Alginate has been shown to be effective in treating exposure to heavy metals and radiation.

Alginates seem to have the capability of binding to and helping flush out of the body heavy metals and radionucleotides, thus reducing the ability of these components to cause DNA damage and disease. One of the best sources of heavy metal fighting alginate is kelp, available at most natural food markets.

Alginate are also used to help suppress one's appetite.
They may reduce the risk of cancer

According to research conducted at the Harvard School of Public Health, sea vegetables may reduce the risk of breast cancer in postmenopausal women.

Sea vegetables are a source of lignans which can bind to and block estrogen receptors on the breast, reducing their ability to stimulate breast tissue. Fucoidan found in kelp has also been shown to interfere with the ability of cancer cells to proliferate.

They may reduce the risk of heart disease and hypertension

Sea vegetables are a rich source of potassium which is important for maintaining a normal blood pressure. When blood pressure levels are maintained within normal ranges, this puts less stress on the heart which helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.

Don't forget that you can get some of the health benefits of sea vegetables not only by eating the vegetable itself but by adding a variety of seaweed based seasonings to prepared foods. It's just one more way to get healthy naturally.
